Solar bracket structures are mainly divided into two categories: fixed and tracking. According to the installation scenario, they can be further divided into ground type and roof type (flat roof, sloping roof). Their core function is to safely and stably support photovoltaic modules and ensure that they obtain the best lighting angle to improve power generation efficiency.

 

1. Common structural types
Fixed bracket: The angle cannot be adjusted after installation, with a simple structure and low cost, suitable for areas with stable lighting conditions.
Adjustable angle bracket: The tilt angle can be manually adjusted according to the season to optimize the light reception in different seasons.
Tracking bracket:
Single axis tracking: The component moves east-west with the sun, increasing power generation by about 25%;
Dual axis tracking: can adjust azimuth and inclination simultaneously, increasing power generation by up to 40%~60%.


2. Materials and processes
Mainstream materials: carbon steel (hot-dip galvanized), aluminum alloy (Al6005-T5), stainless steel 304;
Advantage comparison:
Carbon steel: high strength, low cost, can be used outdoors for 30 years without rusting after hot-dip galvanizing;
Aluminum alloy: lightweight and corrosion-resistant, suitable for high humidity coastal environments;
Polyurethane composite materials: emerging materials with advantages such as high strength, non corrosion, and light weight, especially suitable for harsh environments such as chemical plants and livestock farms.


3. Key design requirements
Wind resistance capacity ≥ 200 km/h, snow pressure resistance ≥ 1.4 kN/m ²;
Compliant with international standards such as AS/NZS 1170;
The bracket should have a groove rail design for easy wiring and maintenance;
The installation angle is usually equal to or close to the local latitude, and the orientation should be towards the south (Northern Hemisphere).
