Product Overview

The Double Circuit Suspension Tower is a steel lattice transmission structure designed to support two independent transmission circuits within a single transmission corridor.

Product Features

Manufactured from Q355B and Q420 high-strength structural steel, designed for wind speeds up to 45 m/s and radial ice loads up to 20 mm.
Incorporates a double-tier vertical suspension cross-arm arrangement for double-circuit conductor configuration.
Utilizes a wide-base four-legged lattice structure with an enlarged foundation reaction span.
Produced using CNC punching and angle-cutting processes to ensure assembly accuracy of connection holes and flange joints.
Hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM A123, with an average zinc coating thickness of not less than 86 μm, meeting outdoor corrosion protection requirements for transmission line applications.

Compliance Standards

International Design Standards
Designed in accordance with IEC 60826 and ASCE 10 transmission line structure standards.
Material Traceability
EN 10204 3.1 material certificates are provided to support raw material batch traceability.

Project Support

Project Experience
Steel transmission towers have been supplied to transmission line projects across more than 30 countries and regions.

Raw Material Assurance
Materials are sourced from major steel producers including Baosteel and Ansteel, supported by corresponding mill test certificates.

FAQ

Q: How are electrical clearances adjusted for different voltage classes?

A: Tower-head geometry and conductor clearances can be recalculated according to project voltage levels, insulation coordination requirements, and applicable local standards.

Q: How are tower members identified during overseas installation?

A: All components are permanently marked with mechanical steel stamps and supplied with matching component lists and assembly drawings.

Q: Can phased production and delivery schedules be arranged?

A: Production and shipment schedules can be coordinated with project construction milestones and phased delivery requirements.

Q: Are the tower components welded or bolted?

A: The tower is primarily designed with bolted connections. Components are prefabricated in the factory and assembled on-site for convenient transportation and installation.

Q: What technical documents can be provided during the bidding stage?

A: Tower drawings, load calculation reports, material certificates, galvanizing inspection reports, and relevant compliance documents can be provided.

Q: What voltage classes can this tower design accommodate?

A: The structure can be designed and verified according to project requirements, commonly covering 110kV, 220kV, 330kV, and 500kV transmission line projects.

Q: What project data is required during the design stage?

A: Voltage class, design wind speed, ice loading, span length, line deviation angle, and conductor configuration are typically required for tower selection and structural calculations.
