The 500kV Voltage Lattice Steel Tower is a steel structure support device specifically designed to carry 500kV ultra-high voltage transmission lines. It uses galvanized angle steel (Q235/Q345 as the main material) connected by bolts to form a spatial truss structure, and the tower body is in an open lattice shape. This design combines high mechanical strength (compressive strength>350MPa) and lightweight advantages, saving more than 30% of steel compared to solid steel structures under the same bearing capacity. The overall hot-dip galvanizing treatment (zinc layer thickness ≥ 85 μ m) has been verified to have a service life of over 30 years through salt spray testing, and is suitable for high corrosion environments along the coast.

Precise CNC manufacturing process
A 500kV tower can be composed of thousands of individual angle steel components. If a bolt hole is misaligned by a few millimeters, it can cause significant delays and safety risks on the construction site. To eliminate this situation, our production facilities adopt fully automatic CNC stamping, drilling, and shearing lines. The data in the construction drawing is directly input into the CNC machine tool. This automated process ensures that the hole position tolerance is less than 0.5mm. When your local installation personnel start to bolt the tower together on site, these components are perfectly installed together for the first time. We also clearly print permanent and readable part numbers directly corresponding to the installation manual on each component.
Customized hot-dip galvanizing with long service life
Transmission towers are typically installed in harsh environments ranging from humid coastal areas facing high salinity to arid deserts with severe temperature fluctuations. Our anti-corrosion treatment is carried out internally. Each processed steel component undergoes a comprehensive acid wash before being immersed in our high-temperature zinc bath to remove all oxide scales and impurities.
We strictly adhere to ISO 1461 and ASTM A123 galvanizing standards. For standard inland projects, we guarantee a minimum galvanized layer thickness of 86 μ m, effectively extending the maintenance free service life of the tower to over 40 to 50 years.
